NESSARA Presents Eric Ziegler & Cecil Bullard Oct 24th
On October 24th, 2015 at Marlborough Courtyard Hotel in
Mass., NESSARA invites all to attend the first annual
Training Conference and Trade Show.
Our own Eric Ziegler will be presenting:
Essential Diagnostic Steps for Driveability and Electrical
Issues Part I and II
Part I 3 hours
This is a critical thinking or logical approach class to
address many of the issues that face techs every day;
working on systems that are new to them or that they have
little or no experience diagnosing. The course is a mix of
critical thinking, theory, diagnostic testing methods,
tooling and real world case studies. Four areas will be
addressed: mechanical testing, fuel trim diagnostics,
ignition testing and network communication issues. Graphing
scan data, archiving data and other useful diagnostic
software will be discussed. Lots of real world, not so
forward case studies will be used to illustrate these
processes and techniques. •See how you can diagnose
each type of problem with basic tools and high tech tools.
•Learn how to figure out what to do next in your
diagnostic process. •See what your results should be
and where to go next. •See a quick review of the
"Flatrater" test drive and how to gather information.
Essential Diagnostic Steps: Part II Instructor: Eric Ziegler
Duration: 3 hours
This course is a continuation of Essential Diagnostic Steps:
Part I. The same "logic based" diagnostic decision making
process will be followed but with more advanced testing
techniques. Introduction to vacuum transducer testing and
waveform analysis techniques are covered. Fuel trim
diagnostics are expanded to cover bank to bank air flow
imbalance issues. A fuel trim "cheat sheet" will be
presented and discussed how to avoid diagnostic fuel trim
pitfalls. The Flatrate Test Drive is enhanced by using
Volumetric Efficiency. VE calculations and the means to do
so are discussed. A Flatrate Test Drive "cheat sheet" will
also be introduced and how to gleam the most information
with the least amount of effort. Network diagnostic
fundamentals and testing techniques will also be discussed.
A network diagnostic "cheat sheet" and self-study techniques
will be presented as well. This class encourages a logic
approach to many common problems that tend to stymie techs.
It is a common sense approach to eliminating the possible
causes of a problem and directing techs to the appropriate
area to test. It is a balance of theory, discussion, and
real world case studies.
Cecil Bullard will be offering The Art of Profitability --
Improving Your Financial Position 6 hours
Understanding how the shop makes money is absolutely
necessary to create personal wealth. Students of this class
will learn how the shop makes money and where they should
spend their limited time and money to improve their profits.
•How the Shop Makes a Profit •The Important
Indicators of Profit and how to Read Them •10 Steps to
Diagnose the Problem Correctly •Management Numbers
verses Financial Numbers -- why both are important
•Setting Yourself Up for Financial Success •The
3 Easiest Ways to Increase your Profits
Cost for either program is a great value @ $99.00
Lunch and late afternoon appetizers will be served in the
trade show hall. Trade show attendance is free and
registered students will be given 1 drink ticket for the
evening cash bar.
