Just finished walking through the sea of show cars on the
way back to the hotel from setting up my booth.
All I can say is wow and I saw a very small
part of the display.
Particularly enjoyed the Daytona Coupe that looks like it is
still working for a living. Among other vehicles that caught
my eye...
Hemi powered old school front engine AA/FD digger
'59 El Cabong, er El Camino super customized. If the
BatMobile was pickup, I think this is what it would have
looked like.
Racing semi tractor, Detroit with a roots type supercharger
feeding a turbocharger. Even Earla was impressed.
Old (GMC?) panel truck done up in orange Craftsman livery
Desoto(?) that was highly modified, the fins as well as
anything else that projected from the body was enlarged.
Surreal effect for sure. The fins had to be close to 18"
tall...
Booth 10229 in the North Hall if anyone wants to stop by and
say hello.
