Topic 1: "GDI for VW/Audi (Applicable to all GDI Systems) Operation & Diagnostics" covers: Operation and diagnostics of Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) systems. Low pressure, high pressure sides & much more... GDI Systems has been in service since mid-2000 & used on many cars.

John Thornton: A working technician and owner of Pro-Tech Mobil Auto Repair in the Chicago suburb of Naperville. He specializes in driveability diagnostics and is an ASE certified Master Technician with L1 certification. John also conducts training seminars for professional repair technicians through Autotrain, Inc. These seminars combine real world problem solving with system operation, focusing on developing efficient diagnostic techniques thorough understanding of both the system under discussion and the diagnostic tools available.

Topic 2: "Misfire Strategies for Today's Vehicles" covers: Diagnosing a misfiring cylinder(s) can consume a lot of time. A diagnostic plan that includes modern equipment helps make the job easier. Step by step diagnostic process including Relative Compression, Pressure Transducer and Labscope Testing. We will be using these test methods to solve Misfire problems.

David DeCourcey: Is a mobile tech and the owner of D&D Professional Automotive Services. He travels in the MA area providing diagnostic service to repair shops. He is an ASE certified Master Technician with L1 Certification and Emission Technician. Dave is also a local New England Automotive and Technicians Service Training Member/ Instructor and has presented at the Vision Conference and CARS.
