Experienced Technical Trainer needed for Las Vegas company

As our industry experiences tremendous growth, we are
seeking a Technical Trainer to help us fulfill the growing
demand for natural gas vehicle technician training. For over
25 years, Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) has been a
leading provider of training programs to fleet technicians
and other fleet personnel, engine and vehicle manufacturers,
and engineers and design professionals. The right candidate
will be an experienced automotive/diesel instructor with the
ability to develop curriculum.

What We Are Looking For:
Experience You must have prior success delivering technical
training to automotive or diesel technicians who work for
mid-to-large corporations or students at the college level,
vocational or technical institute. You will have at least 5
years' classroom instructional experience.
Learning Abilities You have the ability to become a subject
matter expert on natural gas vehicle technology and to
participate in developing new curriculum as the need arises.
Training Time/Travel You must be willing to travel and train
within the United States 12 -16 out of 30 days per month,
with the possibility of occasional international travel. The
remaining time includes curriculum development in the office
and personal time off.
Teamwork You work well independently and as part of a team.
You work cooperatively with other team members, and
understand and support their roles. You are able to carry
out administrative processes related to training classes
effectively.
Communication and Training Delivery Skills Your
communication and training delivery skills are honed and
give you the ability to get the best learning outcomes for
your students. Your facilitator skills and your ability to
command respect generate overwhelming positive reviews from
your students.
Relationship Building Skills You understand and fulfill your
role as an ambassador/liaison between the students and the
company. You are able to easily develop mutually beneficial
working relationships with industry members and
manufacturers, as well as large customers.
Attitude You maintain an attitude and approach of
flexibility and "whatever it takes" to get the job done. You
enjoy helping a company grow and being a key part of that
growth.
Education/Certifications A Bachelor's Degree in Automotive,
Education or a related field is preferred. Five or more
years of classroom teaching/instructional experience in
automotive and diesel technology is required. ASE Master
Tech certification is also preferred. CNG /LNG experience or
familiarity would be an asset as would CSA Fuel System
Inspection certification.
