Temperature drop on radiator
Posted to Technical Discussion Forum on 9/26/2016 20 Replies

Hello all We did head gaskets on this Dodge and while taking it out for a test drive after the repair the following happens. If I drive 60 mph temp stays at 210F but I if drive it 75/80 MPH it will get hot really quickly. I can have it idle for 20 minutes and temperature stays fine. But I took some FLIR shots and the temperature drop on the radiator seems really small. This vehicle has the thermostat at the lower hose. Is the radiator the culprit ? When I took the pictures I revved the engine at 2200 rpm
