Hey guys, I own a 2006 Ram 2500 65k miles with the Cummins diesel in it. I'm not a diesel tech, but I have a general understanding of these engines. I bought the truck from my grand mother after the death of my grand pa, so I'd like to keep this thing going for a very long time b/c it is special to me.

That being said, I've noticed spots on the ground recently. I looked up under the truck, and it looks like the mechanical injection pump body halves are leaking, its called the CP3 pump. After doing some research, I found that this is common to leak in cold weather. Some had success by replacing the pump, others replaced it, but the very next year it began leaking again. I'd like to know if I should replace the pump, or try to find a o-ring kit. I didn't see any rebuild kits online. The pump is very expensive, and I do need to buy a puller for the drive gear. Anyone have a experience with these pumps, and what is the best route to take. Thanks for your time.
