stray voltage, circuit K900
Posted to Technical Discussion Forum on 5/23/2013 9 Replies

Hello, we got a head scratcher here, the van is a no start, the IAT, ECT, MAP, TPS readings are all skewed, the codes set [...],p0340,p0335,p0118,p0108,p0123. Another shop replaced the cam & crank sensors, we investigated reference voltage & sensor ground common to these circuits and found K900 the ECM sensor ground to have 3.50 volts even when disconnected from all sensors shown in the circuit. We have disconnected the clockspring, ECM all sensors & C100 connector, shook the wire harnesses in the engine bay. The voltage remains on the circuit even with the key off, Retained power is off to accesories when you open the door, but the voltage times out after about 7-8 minutes, until you cycle the key, something appears to be cross feeding like a green connector, as if the bcm stays awake and supplies voltage to this circuit? according to the alldata schematic we have disconnected everything related, but alas the voltage remains! All input appreciated.
