Supercharging
Posted to R.P.M. Forum on 8/31/2017 13 Replies

A regular Customer sent his Nephew in to see if I would look at his pride and joy. Evidently he had a shop far far away install an undisclosed Model Supercharger. It now generates several codes I'm told, at least some of the codes are vacuum related and the Dealerships won't work on it anymore. He said he would bring it in when I get off Jury Duty in two weeks. This conversation made me wonder, "What do you do about Vacuum for the brakes and other Accessories after you go above Atmospheric Pressure?". My reluctance to do performance work isn't new, my dad was a diehard Hot Shoe Street Racer in the 50-60s who was displeased when I overhauled my 64 Fairlane and went back together bone stock.
