Re: Bank Angle, Throw Offset, Balance

Just a quick question Gary , from one old technician , to a smarter one ,did you ever get into engine combinations , and how they set them up ? What I'm referring to , is when I went to a tractor pull , in a little town south of here , and I spotted an old Massey tractor , modified frame , the owner had mounted four Buick engines on it , had it set up to start on one button , and respond to one throttle . The engines were connected at the flywheels , two ran one direction , the other two ran the opposite .they were all connected to a common driveshaft . After staring at it for about ten minutes , I had to walk away , the owner came over , said to me " You think you've got a headache , you should have been me trying to set it up " What would be your initial response , Gary , if someone called you , and asked you to diagnose an invention like that , if it wasn't running right ?
