intermittent stall and no start
Posted to HD/Fleet Forum on 8/14/2013 10 Replies

the first clue the driver has is the IP goes dead. Then the vehicle starts running rough. Eventually it may die. Then no start. No click, no solenoid engagement, nothing. Tech2 showed multiple DTC's involving lost communication between the various modules. One thing I did discover is that when I disconnected the negative cable from the battery and then reconnected, started right up as though nothing wrong. This is a school bus and can't trust it on route until this is repaired. I have gone through and checked connections at all the modules, all the ground wires and straps that I could find, but to no avail. Currently it starts and runs with no problem. Please help.
