In a nutshell, combining awareness of cognitive bias into overall situational awareness.

I see technicians and shop owners that are convinced that the secret is in the "silver bullet", or "blue car syndrome" (the fix for every blue car that does X, is Y, no diagnosis needed or wanted).

I see shop owners and technicians that believe "it must be a bad part" without consideration of any other contributing factors.

I see cognitive biases that people don't even realize they have affecting major personal and business decisions and choices.

Awareness is the beginning of fixing this - that was the main point of my linking the article and chart.
