Customer went to dealer for some recall work. Dealer recommending master cylinder replacement? Low brake pedal (almost to floor). So, vehicle brought to us. All diagnoses leads to master cylinder. Pulled master cylinder and verified leak coming from rear of unit. Power Booster had some brake fluid in it, but passed the power booster test during initial testing, so not replaced. Replacement of master cylinder helped bring brake pedal up, but still 1-2" of travel until brakes apply. Then, since the booster was contaminated with brake fluid, we replaced it too. Excess brake travel, again better, but not 100% Power bleed the fluid while actuating the ABS control unit. Still same concern. Replaced the ASB Control Unit. Fixed
