Hi Jonathan,
ASE presented an L3 test introductory webinar back in
November, which we are actually going to offer again live on
January 29. The information in this webinar should help you
understand how this test was developed and offer you some
insight about what you need to study to prepare yourself for
the test.
Here is our YouTube video of the recorded webinar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdxQK8Z_-K4
I would also encourage you to download the L3 Study Guide
from the ASE website and read it from cover-to-cover. The L3
test uses a "Certification Test Reference Document" that
will be provided as an electronic pop-up reference while you
are taking the test. It is included in the ASE Study Guide
and you need to become familiar with the information in it
before you take the test.
Here's a link to the L3 Study Guide: https://www.ase.com/MediaLibrary/Images/PDF%20folder/Advanced_L3_White_StudyGuide.pdf
Here's a link to the L3 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
https://www.ase.com/About-ASE/FAQs/Light-Duty-Hybrid-Electric-Vehicle-Specialist.aspx
These will all be valuable resources to you as you prepare
yourself for this new certification. Thank you for your
support of ASE certification!
