Re: 2-Cycle Oil

Well just to clarify some.I use it pure synthetic in my Arctic Cat ZR-800 for years now & it has worked good although I make sure I run the sled at least once per month to make sure there is a oil coating in the engine during the off months just to be sure ( no problems to date). In the engines that I have torn down oils used have been either semi-synthetic or pure mineral based. I have also read many articles on this subject, which many have stated pure synthetic oils do not leave an oil coating as good as mineral or semi synthetics for the most part,so this is why I had stated what I have. Now I do know synthetic oils are generally better than all & I have proved this in autos I have used in testing with all getting better fuel economy which I believe in turn was caused by better lubrication so engine made more power therefor gave better fuel economy along with fewer oil changes.Although this post was not to debate which oil is better, that is basically irrelevant,I just wanted to know if any member could steer me to possibly getting more Chevron 2-cycle oil as previously stated in the original post & if it is still being produced, that is all. Thanks for your input tho.
