2005 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5, Engine/Propulsion Waveform
2005 VW Jetta 2.5 -- Severe drivability issue ranging from rough running and very poor idle, lack of power, to stalling and no starting. Red is a pressure transducer in cylinder #1. The horizontal cursors mark out the different backpressure levels between idle and snap throttle. This capture was taken during a snap throttle. Transducer translation formula is ((((v-.5)*314.7)/4)-14.7). Vehicle has an extremely plugged catalytic converter.
