| 1998 Ford F-250 Lariat 5.4L Excessive Emissions, Poor Idle Quality, Hesitation, Stall, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FTRX27L3W P1309: misfire mon. hdwr. - cmp misaligned. Got a 98 f250 with 5.4 V8. Came in misfiring badly. Scanner found 5 codes, 4 of them were ignition coil circuit malfunctions, and 1 for misfire monitor not running. Cleared codes, all ignition coil circuit codes came back.
