| 2001 Toyota Avalon XL 3.0L Poor Idle Quality VIN: 4TBF28BX1U P0505: Idle Control System Malfunction. Avalon came in with P505 code and high idle speed. Checked voltage at IAC unit 12v good ground good. Signal wire to computer ohmed ok. No shorts to ground or voltage. Replaced Iac unit with aftermarket unit. Still idles high.
