| 1997 Kia Sportage 2.0L MIL Lamp on VIN: KNDJB7234V P0440: EVAP System Malfunction. ... from you guys. I have this sportage with a p0440 . I smoke tested and vacuum tested the system. no problems.the duty or evap selinoid opens and closes (cycles) and seals when closed. I can apply a ground to the vent solinoid and that also seals completely.... |

| 1997 Nissan Maxima GLE 3.0L MIL Lamp on VIN: JN1CA21D1V P0440: EVAP System Small Leak Detected. I really need help on this one. so as stated above i have replaced the fuel cap, charcoal canister and vent control, and evap pressure sensor as per tsb. i have checked the vent hose for obstruction as well as the vac lines that connect to the pressure sensor.... |
