| 1996 Volkswagen Passat TDI 1.9L MIL Lamp on VIN: WVWHG83A3T P1111: control module malfunction. Cannot find any tests, don't want to replace control module without verifying it is a problem. MIL is NOT on when key turned to on position. As soon as car is driven, MIL comes on with code above. Shut car off, turn key back to on, no MIL light, cycle repeats ... |
