| 1999 Volkswagen Beetle GLS 2.0L Hesitation, Surge, Cuts out, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: 3VWCC21C4X P1128: fuel trim system too lean. This Beetle starts and idles fine but stumbles when the throttle is pushed. It revs smooth if you push the throttle slowly. At full throttle no load the engine leans out chokes then starts to surge.
