| 1999 Chevrolet K1500 Suburban 5.7L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1GNFK16RNX P0404: EGR Open Position Performance. Truck came in with MIL ON, found above codes, cleared and only ones that came back were for Map low voltage, datastream confirmed voltage of 1.9V KOEO, sometimes be as low as .2V, doesn't seem to matter if vehicle is running or not. 5V reference to sensor good... |

| 1998 Pontiac Sunfire SE 2.2L MIL Lamp on VIN: 3G2JB5249W P0404: EGR Open Position Performance. Intermittant code P0404. EGR position out of range. About once per month. Always checks out good at shop. Removed EGR to check and everything looked good. No carbon and not sticking. We have a couple of these with the same problem. Any thoughts? |
