| 1997 Mercury Cougar XR-7 3.8L Poor Idle Quality, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1MELM6242V P0161: ho2s22 heater circuit fault. customer came in with the vehicle not running - car would start but then die right away. we replaced the converter assembly (3 converters - all plugged). now the car starts and runs but the idle doesn't seem right and the check engine light comes on right away... |
