March 9, 2011 We've improved our invitation system (http://iatn.me/i) so that it's much easier to invite a qualified colleague to join iATN. This feature is now open to all members of iATN. If your colleague upgrades their account to a premium membership (sponsorship), we will extend your existing sponsorship by one month, or provide you with a free one month trial of premium membership. More info here: http://iatn.me/100 Thanks!

February 28, 2011 We have a new poll up in the members-only area of iATN: "How many flash reprogramming events (J2534 or O.E. tool) has your facility performed during the past year?" http://members.iatn.net/
This is really similar to a poll we had almost 2 years ago (http://iatn.me/5), so we're interested to see how the results have changed in that time period.
February 24, 2011 The latest iATN Review newsletter is out, including topics such as recovering from an induced theft-moded PCM, a useful tip for diagnosing leaking PowerStroke EGR coolers, Ford Variable Valve Timing issues on a 5.4L, in-cylinder pressure transducers, and more. iATN Review Newsletter: First Quarter 2011 Edition
February 21, 2011 We've made it simple to pause iATN subscription email (e.g. TechHelp and web forum mail) for up to two weeks at a time. This feature has been requested often and we're glad to finally make it available! Read more about it in the forums here: http://iatn.me/eSLBIz
February 17, 2011 This week we improved the file upload system, making it easier for you to upload files. First, we've made it possible to control your watermark settings on all images you upload. Second, we made it much faster to categorize multiple files that are on the same subject, with a "copy data from last file" feature. More information, including a brief demo video, is available in this forum post: http://iatn.me/g28YBF
February 14, 2011 You can now subscribe to the iATN web forums and TechHelp using RSS feeds. To learn more about this new feature and feeds in general, please see this post in the Open Discussion Forum: http://iatn.me/h6YEWM
January 27, 2011 We released a new video for members that highlights the organization of the web forums on iATN, and provides some navigation tips, check it out: http://iatn.me/fKLGgq
January 21, 2011 We have a new poll up to find out how everyone's automotive business fared in 2010. http://members.iatn.net/
Similar to the oil change poll, this latest poll is one we've asked a couple times before, starting in 2008 (http://iatn.me/eAYggM) with the economic downturn, and again in 2009 (http://iatn.me/goT7tY).
January 21, 2011 The automotive professionals on iATN change the oil in their personal vehicles at the 4000 mile mark, on average, according to our unscientific poll of 5,272 members.
We had over 5200 votes in just 15 days. One interesting thing is that this average number has gone up each time we've done this poll. In 1998 the average was 3400 miles (http://iatn.me/fVdenk). In 2005 it was up to 3600 miles (http://iatn.me/gVBH7t).
January 4, 2011 Happy New Year! We've just released a new poll on the Members Only homepage: "What average oil change interval do you use on your own personal vehicles?" http://members.iatn.net/
It's a question we've posed twice in the past: In 1998 (http://iatn.me/fVdenk) and again in 2005 (http://iatn.me/gVBH7t). While these polls aren't scientific, it is interesting to see how the trends change through the years!
