Hi Dwight, I "KNOW" how you feel. I had mine out when I was 24. Mine had not ruptured, but it turned out to be a little more difficult for my surgeon to fix then normal. I got a scar that is a 4in x 4in angle, and I also had no sick time or vacation time.
