How to Upgrade your iATN Membership
After joining iATN you may wish to upgrade your membership. There are currently two premium membership types available to our members. Please read the details below to determine which type best fits your intended use:
iATN Business Sponsorship (1 primary user, 1 location, business usage) $30 per month (billed quarterly) + 1 time setup fee of $20
Also known as a "Shop Sponsorship." If you are a repair shop owner, or manager, or plan to look up information for other technicians at your facility, then this is the correct sponsorship. This sponsorship includes a complimentary listing in the iATN Repair Shop Finder and a complimentary public web page on iATN that can be used to advertise your services to the general public. You may use this sponsorship to research information for other employees who work at your facility (they must all work at a single physical location), but please do not share your password with anyone (including your employees). You have the option with this sponsorship to allow key staff to search iATN using your account, after you have logged on. Be cautious of who you allow to do this, as they may alter your account settings once you log them on. Only the person whos name is on this account should post messages. If your employees need to read or post in the forums, or other sections of the site, they should always do so using their own personal accounts.
Note: Any employees at your facility who need their own direct access, or who wish to access the premium features from their homes, should setup separate personal Individual Sponsorships under their own iATN accounts. Many shop owners offer to reimburse their techs for the cost of this sponsorship, due to the outstanding educational opportunities available. You should not use a single sponsorship to support more than five (5) techs on a regular basis. Please add additional sponsorships as needed. If our system detects excessive use, search limitations may be placed on your account, or you may be asked to upgrade additional staff members. For multi-facility usage, hotlines, or other high volume usage, please contact iATN support for pricing and policies.
iATN Individual Sponsorship (1 user, personal use only) $15 per month (billed quarterly) + 1 time setup fee of $10
Also known as a "Technician Sponsorship." If you are a technician (or similar automotive professional), plan to do only searches for vehicles that you are personally working on, and you are not interested in a public web page on iATN, then this is the correct sponsorship for you. You may only use this sponsorship on one computer at a time. Please do not use this account to look up information for others, or for vehicles you are not personally working on. For anything beyond personal use, please choose the Business Sponsorship above. If our system detects excessive or multiple user use, search limits may be placed on your account and/or you may be asked to upgrade to the Business Sponsorship. The Individual Sponsorship will give you access to all of the Premium Membership features, with the exception of the complimentary listing in the Repair Shop Finder, and the public web pages, and certain features which may be limited to Business Sponsors. Do not at anytime share your username and password.
Educators
If you are an automotive educator you may choose the Individual Sponsorship. You may use your account in class but please keep your username and password private. A separate account is required for each instructor.
A Note About Our Industry Sponsorship
The Industry Sponsors, whose banners you'll see throughout the iATN web site, help to make this network possible. Please use their products or services whenever possible. Industry Sponsorship is the only advertising available that is directed to the members of this network. Cost and availability are available upon request. This type of sponsorship is very limited, and is a substantially higher cost than the Business or Individual sponsorships.
