Summary
The "My iATN" feature allows you to instantly save, categorize, sort, locate, and share your favorite items on iATN: all forum posts, images (and other file uploads), and TechHelp requests and fixes. This can help you keep track of useful information you find on iATN. (With over 2 million items in our Knowledge Base, there's a lot of information to use!) When researching a vehicle problem or doing technical research on iATN, you can now instantly save the most pertinent results under a single label specific to your customer's vehicle, a specific topic, or any other category you create.

Description
When viewing an item that can be saved, such as a forum post, you will see a
button. Click the button and you will be prompted to enter one or more tags, a category (one to four stars), and an optional note you can use to add your own brief comments. Once the item is saved, the "save" button will turn green, as you can see in the example below.

Fig 2. Example of an iATN forum post that has been saved (note green Save icon.)
Once an item is saved, it appears in your My Saved Items area, where you can easily find it later by filtering down based on the area it was posted in (for example, the forums versus TechHelp, or maybe even a specific forum, like Technical Tips Forum), the tags you used, the author that posted it, the number of stars you gave it, etc. If a message was specific to a certain vehicle (as the example post above was), that vehicle info will be saved along with the item, and you can also filter down based on that criteria. If the item contains embedded images (also in the example post above), or if the item itself is an image, it will appear with the item to remind you of that, allowing for quick visual identification. If you hold your mouse cursor over the image, you can quickly see an expanded view.
In the example view of a "My Saved Items" page below, you will see the member has filtered their view down to a specific author, by clicking on his or her name. This has dropped their view down from 336 saved items to a single item, allowing very quick access. The member could also have clicked on one of their custom tags or the forum ("Technical Tips") to narrow things down, or any or all of the vehicle information: "1999," "Dodge," and "Caravan." Clicking on the red "clear filters" button will instantly return you to your default view of all items. Notice the first image from the post above appears to the right, as a reminder of what files are in the post.

In the example view of My Saved Items above, also notice the checkbox on the left side of each item. If you check the box next to one or more saved items, you will see a prompt to either delete or share those items. If you select the option to share, you can publish the group of items in a single document known as a "collection." When creating the collection, you will be prompted to give it a name, description, and an optional opening and closing paragraph. Once the collection is created, you can share it with other iATN members, post it in the forums to discuss it, and anyone can save it to My iATN, just like any other item on iATN.
You can also edit items you've saved, changing the tags you've assigned to the item, the notes, the star category, or even deleting the item entirely. You perform these actions using the delete and edit icons to the left of the subject lines, which you can see in the example above.
Access
My iATN is available to all members, though Basic Subscribers are limited to viewing only their latest saved items. Premium Members can view all of their saved items. This feature can be accessed by all members here, or by clicking the Save button when viewing a forum post, waveform (or other file), fix, or collection.
