Larry Silvey, Editor-in Chief
Larry Silvey is a 26-year veteran of the automotive aftermarket trade press, who has won numerous writing awards, including three consecutive International Automotive Media Awards. He is Motor Age's editor-in-chief and is group editorial director of the Advanstar Automotive Group. Throughout his career, he has participated on various association committees. Currently, he serves on the Board for Northwood University's Aftermarket program, the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association's Marketing Communications/Membership Committee and the Planning Committee for the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium.

Chris Miller, Senior Editor
Chris Miller has worked in publishing for 10 years with a number of newspapers and magazines. Beginning his career with newspaper reporting and editing, Chris worked his way up at Aftermarket Business from associate editor to senior editor post, and he now serves as senior editor of Motor Age. In addition, Chris is also a long-time jazz musician and published poet and lives in Akron, Ohio.

Tschanen Niederkohr, Managing Editor
Tschanen Niederkohr (her name is pronounced Shannon) took on the duties of managing editor of Motor Age in January 2008 after serving as associate editor of Aftermarket Business. Before joining the Advanstar Automotive Group in 2006, she was a copy editor at The Morning Journal in Lorain, Ohio, and had been the city editor for The Daily Chief-Union in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Tschanen is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, with a degree in journalism.

Pete Meier, Technical Contributor
Peter Meier is an ASE-certified Master Technician, member of iATN and full-time tech in Tampa, Fla. His experience reaches back over 30 years, and his contributions to Motor Age reflect a wide variety of experience with almost every make and model. Pete is new to the technical contributor role, handling more coverage of the drivability and electrical aspects of vehicle repair, as well as working with other contributing editors. Pete also regularly posts blogs, video and audio on our community Web site.
