Mary DellaValle, Editor. Mary has been employed at Babcox Publications, LLC in Akron, OH, for 18 years, and has 20 years of automotive aftermarket magazine publishing experience. As editor, her goal in overseeing ImportCar's editorial content is to advance the magazine's position as a respected source of technical information for servicing import vehicles. Reaching beyond trade magazine publishing, Mary has served on the Auto International Association (AIA) Board of Directors since 2001.

Jennifer McMullen is the managing editor of Underhood Service and ImportCar magazines, and the editor of TechShop - Equipment, Tools & Supplies magazine. She is also a key member of the Babcox Corporate Marketing team. Jennifer joined Babcox in 1997.

Debbie Briggs, Contributing Editor. Debbie is responsible for writing several of ImportCar's key editorial departments. In addition to editing the magazine's technical features and columns, Debbie also works closely with the ImportCar Advisory Board to obtain story ideas and write management articles that are targeted to readers' business needs.

Mitch Schneider, Contributing Editor, is the co-owner of Schneider's Automotive Repair, an independent repair facility located in Simi Valley, CA. An ASE Master Technician and ASE-certified C1 Service Advisor, Schneider is a 40-year veteran of the automotive service and repair industry.

Larry Carley, Technical Editor, System-Specific Technical Features. Carley has 27 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, including experience as an ASE-certified technician, and has won numerous awards for his articles. He has written 12 automotive-related books and developed automotive training software, available at www.carleysoftware.com.

Gary Goms, Import Specialist Contributor. Goms owns Midland Engine Electronics & Diagnostics in Buena Vista, CO. He is an ASE-certified Master Auto Technician, ASE L-1 Advanced Engine Performance Technician, and specializes in performance-related diagnostic issues.

Bob Dowie, Import Specialist Contributor. Dowie has been in the automotive service business for more than 30 years, and his shop, Village Auto Works in Chester, NY, specializes in Honda, Toyota, Mazda and Nissan repair. Dowie owns and runs a Honda Civic and Nissan Sentra SER in SCCA GT5 racing, and gets his technicians involved in various aspects of the sport.

Larry Bailly, Import Specialist Contributor, has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. ASE-certified in Engine Repair, Suspension/Steering, Brakes and Engine Performance, and MACS-certified in A/C Recycling and Service, he is currently employed as a technician at Quality Foreign Auto, Mill Creek, WA, where he specializes in the repair and service of Volkswagens. He is also a Washington State-Certified, Advanced Emissions Specialist.

Joe Stephens, Import Specialist, is the owner of Stephens Automotive in Palatine, IL, and a member of the ImportCar Advisory Board. For the past 10 years, Stephens has specialized in the repair of Toyota and Lexus vehicles at his 6,000-square-foot shop, staffed by three technicians and one service writer. Boe Kalinoski, Import Specialist Contributor, Volvo/Saab Technical Features. Kalinoski has been servicing imports for more than 25 years. He owns and operates Automotion Services, a Volvo/Saab repair shop in Billerica, MA. He is an ASE-certified Master Auto Technician, a Volvo/Saab Master Technician and a MACS/IMACA-Certified Air Conditioning Technician.
