Re: ISTA/P BMW SLOW?
Posted to Tool & Equipment Forum on 6/22/2014 2 Replies

In my opinion, if you are serious about BMW, purchasing an ICOM is justified. ISTA3 has actually sped up diagnosis to the extent that my techs will now use ISTA3 before they grab the GT1. We devote a PC (actually 2) to ISTA and ISTA/P. This software is VERY demanding of computer resources. I know I am bucking the trends, but I prefer a PC over a laptop. I build my own and can get extreme speed for a minimal expenditure.
