ASE Education Foundation 6th Annual Instructor Conference
Posted to Industry Events Forum on 2/19/2019

Here is information about a professional development opportunity specifically designed for educators. From an ASE Education Foundation press release:

"The ASE Education Foundation will hold its 6th annual Instructor Training Conference on July 22-25, 2019, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, in Frisco, Texas.

The conference offers over 60 technical training sessions for instructors to choose from over the three days. There are tracks for automotive, collision repair, and medium/heavy truck instructors. Session presenters represent over 35 organizations involved in all aspects of the automotive industry, including 10 OE manufacturers.

Michael Brustein, partner at Brustein & Manasevit PLLC will present the keynote address, discussing new features of Perkins V. On-site ASE certification testing will also be available during the conference.

"We aim to provide the best mix of professional development and technical training possible for instructors," said Mike Coley, ASE Education Foundation President. "Thanks to our ASE Education Foundation partners, our conference sponsors and our technical presenters, conference participants will benefit from a great week of networking and learning!"

Conference registration is now open at www.ASEeducationfoundation.org/events.

The ASE Education Foundation works with over 2300 automotive technology training programs and over 50,000 students nationally to provide the transportation industry a viable workforce through standards and credentials for institutions, organizations and individuals. The Foundation also offers career development and workplace exposure by creating relationships and partnerships with employers."

I hope educators will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to network with peers and attend some great technical sessions. When the schedule of seminars is released, I will post an update.
