Technician Needed for Help Desk in Nashville, TN area

Summary of Position:

This is a call center based(telephone help desk) position that assists Infiniti & Nissan dealerships with vehicle diagnosis and repairs.

Position Description:

Answers TECH LINE calls from Infiniti & Nissan service technicians and provide them with technical information on the diagnosis and repair of customer vehicles. Collects information and writes reports to document the recommendations and repair. Will do database searching to seek similar incidents and discuss diagnostics with other team members. Interact with other professional staff.

Position Requirements:

Nissan and Infiniti experience is encouraged, but other brand technicians can apply. Thorough knowledge in the diagnosis and repair of cars & trucks. Well-versed in the use of technical service manuals and scan tools. 5 or more years of technical "hands-on" experience in auto mechanics. Any and all formal technical training is a plus (AA degree, trade school diploma, etc.). Certification as an ASE Master Technician preferred, L1 certification highly desired. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Basic knowledge of computer word processing and ability to type at a reasonable speed. High school diploma or GED.

Compensation: $24 - $28 per hour. Negotiable based on specific duties and experience
