Alan

Worked for an auto auction for a short time. We got 1 hour time to inspect and road test certain Vehicles for Certified Sale. Test drive out of auction lot was about a mile with major acceleration and braking, plus rack time to check for frame damage etc.

Then management cut time in half which turned the road test into a lot test (large multi acre lot) they had a fit when I let them know the road test was now a lot test that we were all doing now. 1 hour test actually took about 50 min to complete.

Also they expected us to work Saturdays when the low end dealers passed on any repairs to just run them across the line. So we were out any time for checking the vehicle out.

Needless to say I was out after 3 months. About 11/2 years later got a check for about 2K some one went to the authorities about the Sat. No Pay. Smile all the way to the Bank.
