Head Gasket Failure

* Failed Head Bolt Threads in the Block * Fellow Techs & Shop Owners:

This little one bit us good, we replaced the headgasket, and had the head completely reconditioned; ( always ); and it kept losing coolant & overheating. We were not aware that these have a high failure rate of head bolt threads like the Northstar. We recommend this supplier:, It is very important that you call and speak to Neil, he has very good advice which may keep you out of trouble with this repair. Good Luck !
