On-car alternator test possible?
Alternator is not charging. Simple, two-wire alternator: Terminal 1 (indicator lamp circuit) has 11.4v with key on. Terminal 2 has B+ (sense wire). If I apply my own B+ to terminal 2, and - with engine running - apply B+ with a hot, bulb-style test light -- sh... Login to read more.
