Re: 2-Cycle Oil
Posted to Open Discussion Forum on 8/9/2016

I have been running Chevron using 87 10% alcohol regular gas station fuel & no specific brand in my personal Rotax powered rec vehicle for over 20 years ( water cooled ) now & never had any problems with this oil & have disassembled many other Rotax engines mainly air cooled units & combustion chamber is practically carbon non-existent with rings that were free ( no stuck rings ). Also bottom ends were fine too with good oil retention ( left over coating in crank & bearings ).
